GREEN EYE® sorting technology collect three dimensional data simultaneously at higher speeds than other optical sorting technologies. Our technological advantage enables real time data collection, higher through puts and the ability to see through outer Heat Shrink Plastics labels, deep into Barrier Bottles and even identifies Bio Plastics! Nearly any number of material variables can be collected and utilized to accept or reject any combination. Our advanced technology enables unwanted items such as aluminum cans and fiber to be blocked, while colors, including black and white, are easily identified and selected or blocked. Every GREEN EYE® is delivered ready to be trained to sort nearly any recyclable commodity. GREEN EYE® is extremely simple to operate and maintain, with as many off-t he-shelf parts as possible.
Optical Sorter The Green Eye® “One Sorter Does It ALL”
Green Eye identifies all recyclable materials using its patented Artificial Intelligent Hyper Spectral imaging system, which gathers information based on an objects molecular structure, like no other sorter!
Sorts 1s thru 7s, Engineered Polymers & Bio Plastics, individually or in groups. Sees through shrink wrap labels and identifies barriers. Blocks aluminum, paper and organics.
Sorts clean natural wood from, pressure treated, creosoted and painted wood streams at extremely high yields.
Sorts multiple grades of C&D materials including gypsum board, all grades of carpeting, fibers, and plastics.
Sorts different grades of printed circuit boards, different grades of ABS plastics including black and leaded glass from non-leaded glass.
Sorts aseptic cartons from other materials, as well as fiber like materials. Also separates through plastic streams.
Sorts up to 8 TPH of mixed paper per unit. Identification of printed from non-printed paper, OCC, box board and wax coated. White from colored and contaminated from clean.
GREEN MACHINE® could currently include the effective separation of Vinyl from PVC to its raising list of industry initial’s! Vinyl material is a useful grade of plastics when if void of PVC can be made use of to manufacture more vinyl. The problem has actually been they're both vinyl! Our testing facility measures a much better compared to 95 %+ clean Vinyl pick rate from a variety of contaminants including PVC.
Green Eye optical sorters continue to surprise customers with their ability to sort commodities other technologies can’t. Most recently Green Eye’s were able to sort a variety of fabrics for reuse. Until now the vast majority of used clothing are shipped overseas. Now the precise sorting capacities of our sorters enable this resource to be remanufacturer into new clothing and other products.
Light is the name for a specific range of electromagnetic radiat ion. Fig-1
When light reaches an object, some of the light is reflected and some of the light is absorbed. Different materials reflect and absorb light at different wavelengths. The reflected light, minus the absorbed light produces a “Signature” or “Fingerprint” Fig-2, which is unique to the chemical makeup of an object. Data is typically collected over a two dimensional plane, often represented by the plotting of the response of interest as a function of wavelength or frequency. Object signatures are then compared to a known database to determine if there is a spectral match. Fig-3
“Our Green Eye® test facility” was created to enable our engineers and designers to continue our research and development of our exciting and innovative recycling product line. This facility is also used to assist customers with testing equipment, especially if they need equipment for hard to sort materials or materials that are exceptionally large or heavy. We encourage all of our customers to come visit our plant and see for themselves how our automatic optical sorting process works. There’s no other sorting system in the world that uses a process similar to our patent pending vision system, and no other technology possesses the same capabilities of this system.
